A Day for Daisies

This week's challenge for Glitter n Sparkle is from A Day for Daisies and the stamp used was Spring Flower Hair from the Beauties section.  Here I used my markers to colour in the lovely image then layered it onto some foil effect patterned card with a die cut butterfly and ribbon bow finished off with some pearl gems and sentiment.


                                                   

Enna with Love letter from Sunflowerfield

This is the challenge for 17th May,from Sunflowerfield Designs.  It is called Enna with Love letter.  Here I used a floral background to match the cut-out Enna which is coloured with Spectrum Noire markers and topped with a white die cut heart from Tattered Lace and a red glittered heart with ribbon bow on top.


                                                 

New Challenge from GLITTER N SPARKLE

This challenge asked for heat or dry embossing,so I used Symphoni from Spellbinding stamps to create a mermaid beach scene.  Firstly a cloud effect paper was laid underneath a heat embossed fishtail using Debbi Moore's print magic and with aqua glitter added to the edge.  The sand and shells were brought back from holidays to give the beach effect.

There is no other lovelier place than the Penwith area of Cornwall in spring and summer; moorland mining sites,winding lanes flanked with wildflowers,scented violets,bluebells,thrift and semi-tropical plants adorn the quaint whitewashed cottages and hedgerows,but more than anything the stunning beauty of the wild pristine beaches simply take your breath away. Porthcurno beach was on my bucket list as was Sennen beach,how very lucky to see both.

Challenge 134

Nataliya from Stitchy Stamps.  My second challenge from Glitter n Sparkle,this is for 26th April.

I used white card that had been pattern cut with my Cricut Explore then backed with some floral glitter paper and gold butterfly acetate,topped off with the lovely Nataliya ballerina coloured in Spectrum Noire markers,cut out and mounted with a thank you sentiment and finished off with some metallic pink and gold floral stickers.

Easter is finally here,more importantly Spring is in the air and there's no better time for creative juices to be overflowing,so here are some of the cards made at Hobbycraft craft group,which I must say is my inspiration and motivation - alas,only fortnightly to meet with the other crafty ladies and have such a good time,so with that said,here are the cards.

And this one has added Die Cut,all Anna Giffin of course.

Christmas Fairies wonderland

These wonderful Christmas Fairies from Debbi Moore have all been incorporated into this one window card,which has 2 decoupage grotto effect fairies and a greeting inside.  I glittered and decoupaged all the images with the 'Fairy Queen' surrounded by icicles and quartz inside her icy grotto and the 'Poinsettia Fairy' surrounding her.  'Ivy' and 'Mistletoe' fairies adorn the front,very pretty!
